"God has told me to hurry; so stop opposing God, who is with me, or he will destroy you," Neco told Josiah [2 Chronicles 35.21-23]. Of course, Josiah didn't buy the idea. He believed God revealed only to his chosen nation, not to a pagan king, and an Egyptian at that. As a result, King Josiah died in that battle.
It delights God to reveal his thoughts to mankind, regardless of race, status, or religion. He may not answer a sinner's prayer or talk to the ungodly, but he "reveals" his thoughts to anyone [Amos 4.13]. In fact, one look at the sky and anyone will see that the heavens declare the glory of God.
